 Wishing everybody a happy, safe, sun filled enjoyable summer. Our school will be reopening on Thursday August 31st.  We congratulate 6th class pupils as they complete their education in our school. We wish them every success and happiness in secondary school in the future. We acknowledge the families of those boys who no longer have brothers in our school and thank them for their support during the past six years. You may have heard that Deirdre O’Keeffe will not be returning to our school in September.
We thank her most sincerely for her kindness, commitment and dedication to the school for the past 12 years. She is so efficient and meticulous when completing tasks. She is very talented and willingly shared her time and talents with us. We will miss her dearly! Our huge loss is another schools gain. We wish her and her family every success in the future and continued health and happiness.  3rd and 4th Class had a great time on their School Tour at the Glen Resource Centre yesterday.    On Friday all classes had a Viking Workshop where we learnt all about the Vikings, their dress, culture and their trades. We also witnessed mock Viking Executions! The whole experience was very worthwhile and the boys loved it.   On day 4 of Active School's Week 5th & 6th climbed Claragh. Another wonderful day. Many thanks to the parents who came with us and helped on the day. Well done to our 4th Class Quiz Team who are finishing out the year on a winning streak with a win in Knocknagree.   3rd & 4th who will be going on their school tour on Monday next played water games in the school yard.  |
