A meeting of the Green Schools took place on Monday January 16th.
We read over the minutes of our previous meeting. We saw that the bathroom rota supervision was not working. At the meeting we decided that: 1. All committee members would supervise the bathroom. 2. We were to tell the pupils about this supervision and to remind them that they were not to overuse the dryer. 3. We discussed the lady who will be coming for our shredded paper to use as bedding for her dogs. This will reduce the weight of our litter in bins. 4. We were happy with yard and noted that there was no litter there. 5. We spoke about poster competition on Theme: Global Goal to Clean Water & Sanitation. Each class to enter the competition. Closing Date 10th Feb. 6. We want to mention work of Green Schools on newsletter and school website. 7. We discussed the plans for upcoming trip to Fermoy- Forum on water organised by An Taisce & Irish Water for Thurs. Jan 19th. |
