On Tuesday 6th Class climbed Clara Mountain. It was part of their JEP Adventure. More can be read about their Adventure HERE. One of the boys compared climbing Clara to a graduation from one school to the next! Well done to all who took part.

Farewell to our 6th Class. We wish you all the best in your Secondary Schools.    This afternoon we raised our 2nd Green Flag. Emilis in 2nd Class helped. Emilis worked very hard on the Green School's Committee this year. He is going back to Lithuania this Summer for good. We will miss him. Sebastian & Jack cut the cake. It was delicious! We are very proud of our achievements this year. Today the 6th Class & the Green School's Committee went on a trip to the Wind Farm in Taur Beg. There are 11 windmills in this farm. We were taken on a tour of the wind farm and we even went into a wind mill. It was a busy day in 6th today. Mrs Finnegan presented the young entrepreneurs with their JEP certificates. We are very proud of these young men. The future of business in Kanturk is in safe hands.  Today we had the Football Rural School's Medal Presentation. Mrs Finnegan presented the medals to our school Football Team. Well done boys!  These are some of the Photos of the 2nd & 3rd Class of the Penalty shoot out taken during Active School Week. Dan, Darragh & Cillian qualified for the final. 3rd & 4th Class took part in a FUN Hurling Blitz in Mallow this week. Brandon & Colin 5th helped as Refs. They had great fun. Well done to all! |
