Tomorrow our boys in 5th & 6th are taking part in a fun Tag Rugby Blitz. This is becoming an annual event much to the delight of the boys. Many thanks to Kanturk Rugby for organising this.
 Today Garda Philip O' Neill visited our school. He spoke to the boys about safety. To the delight of the younger boys he also showed them the Garda car.  Yesterday Dr Maureen Griffen spoke to 4th, 5th & 6th Classes about Internet Safety. She spoke to parents last night. She gave us great tips on how to keep ourselves safe on the Internet.  Well done to all our Runners today at Cork City Sports. We had 3 prize winners. Colin got a 1st, Aiviras got a 2nd and Sam got a 3rd. We're very proud of you all.
 Our runners are all set for Cork City Sports in the morning. Leaving the school bright and early at 7.15am! Best of Luck Boys!
 Best of Luck to our Second Class who are receiving their First Holy Communion on Saturday. We hope they will have a great celebration.
 Off to collect our First Green Flag! Today we headed to the Silver Springs Hotel in Cork to a Green Schools Ceremony and we received our First Green Flag. It was a very proud day for our school. Eoin and Brian represented our Green Schools Committee and were great ambassadors for our school. Our Green Schools Committee are presently very busy organising a big celebration to Raise our First Green Flag which is to be held on Friday 21st of June.  On Wednesday our boys from 5th & 6th played in the Duhallow Rural Schools 13 aside Football Final. Unfortunately we had no joy. We played our best to the end in atrocious conditions. Well done to our rivals, Boherbue.   Our Great Supporters! |
