Today we attended an Advent Carol Service in Scoil Mhuire. The 1st Years performed " A Christmas Spirit" in song and verse. Afterwards pupils from many Classes sang a medley of Christmas Songs for us. We were very impressesd by the very high standard of work and it was a great Christmas Treat for us. We were really impressed by our past pupils - Gearóid in the Christmas Spirit - Sergiu as a soloist in "Sing" - Augustas in his singing of "Halleluia" and last but not least Sergiu , Daire and Diego in their singing of "Granma got run over by a reindeer".
Well done to all. Today we had our Green School's Inspection. Colette from Cork County Council interviewed the Green School's Committee. The boys gave a great account of themselves and of the great work being done around the school. They concluded the meeting with a terrific rendition of "We're from St Colman's." to the tune of " We are the Wise Men". Afterwards the boys took Colette around the School to show her all our great work. Well done boys!!! Hopefully we'll be hearing about our Green Flag in the new year.
1st & 2nd really got into the festive spirit at the Pantomine in the Everyman Theatre on Wednesday. They went to see Little Red Riding Hood. It was very enjoyable and they all had a great time.

We collected over €800 which we hope to split between the Kanturk Vincent de Paul Group and School Funds. Many thanks to all those who supported us. Today we celebrated our annual Christmas Mass with family, grandparents and friends. The boys sang and played beautifully and our readers read very well. Staff and parents were very proud of them. But the 1st Class Boys stole the show with their acting out of the Nativity Play.
