This week we're learning about the Philippines and the utter destruction caused by Typhoon Haiyan. Some boys wrote about it.
On November 8th the biggest typhoon ever, hit the Philippines. The damage it gave was absolutely devastating. Many poor Philippines with the children and new born babies are mostly dead. The worst place it hit was Tacloban. A typhoon is a tropical storm with massive waves. It was recorded to be the biggest typhoon ever at a grade 5.
Of course they need help and it is coming. The amount of countries that are helping is unreal. They will need food, shelter, water and medication. So we will try our best and give it to them.
In Ireland we are helping a lot. Our church are collecting and our government are thinking about sending unemployed construction workers for help. We are doing our best to endeavour to save all. So endeavour to carry on through this devastating traumatic event.
