Our Green Schools Committee has registered the School for the National Spring Clean. The National Spring Clean is Ireland’s largest anti-litter initiative organised by An Taisce and funded by the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government.
The campaign runs throughout the month of April every year with clean-up events taking place in towns and communities all over the country. Many thanks to the Kanturk Tidy Towns Committee who put off this event until after the Confirmation. It was to take place on Friday May 18th with the four schools in the town taking part but it had to be postponed due to poor weather conditions. It was then held on Friday May 25th. Well done to all those who took part.
