Dear Alex,
We wanted to thank you for your participation in Cllr Kieran McCarthy’s 10th anniversary Model Boat Project. The energy and creativity you put into building your boat has been extraordinary! We were blown away by the amazing work you did and wanted to thank every single one of you for your participation and time.
We hope you all learned from the project the importance of recycling and caring for our environment and planet and take this learning into the future. We are very lucky to have our wonderful Cork Harbour and surrounding coastal areas and you are the future caretakers of this.
We were so impressed with your entries we made a short video to showcase your work which you can view on the Cork Harbour Festival youtube channel.
We will have a live ceremony on Facebook this Friday 29th May at 5pm to recognise the work you have done. We would love you to join us on our Facebook page or, if your family doesn’t have Facebook, please let us know and we will send you a Zoom invite. It’s very easy to join that way.
We are looking forward to it!
Best Wishes,
Joya
