Today we had a surprise visit from Aidan Walsh Cork footballer and past pupil of our school. Aidan makes his own hurleys and donated some to our school. There will be no stopping us now in the Rural Schools' Competition this year!

Today all the boys from 3rd, 4th , 5th & 6th took part in a fun Maths Quiz. This was a great finish to Maths Week and everybody really enjoyed it. We had 3 Winning Teams. The following boys were in these teams : James Bourke, Kallum Young, Darren O' Donoghue, James Moylan, Gary McAuliffe, Josh O' Connor, Niall Breen, Dean Savage & David Higgins. These boys were treated to a trip to the sweet shop . Well done to all.

Many thanks to all those who brought in clothes for our Clothes Collection. This is a valuable fundraiser for our school. We hope to have another collection around May. So keep bagging those clothes for us.

Today some of 5th & 6th took part in a Hurling Blitz in Rathcoole . They played Newmarket, Ballyhass, Rathcoole and Freemount . A great day was had by all. Well done boys!
