Yesterday we had a visit from Fr Gerard Condon. Fr Condon is our Religious Inspector. He was delighted with the work done throughout the school and rewarded the boys with Homework off!
There is great practice being done for the Confirmation throughout the school. The Confirmation will be held on the 4th of March. We wish the very best to all those taking part.
Last Friday 1st, 4th & 6th Classes went swimming. They will be going now for 6 weeks. The cost is €20. Many thanks to the parents association who have sponsored this. This year the 6th Class boys are partnered with the 1st Class boys so they can help them in the changing room. This proved to be a great success. Well done boys!
Our Buddy Reading started again on Thursday and will continue every Thursday. All pupils in the school are involved in this. 3rd Class read for 6th. 2nd read for 5th and 1st read for 4th.
5th & 6th Classes will be confirmed in 8 weeks time on the 4th of March. We will be working hard preparing over the next few weeks.
Today 5th & 6th Classes had tag rugby with Aaron Jones. It was great fun. Aaron will be with us until Easter.
