Congratulations to our four winners of our Annual Advent Readathon.Well done to Paddy, Ronan, Ciaran & Matthew. Keep up the Reading over Christmas!   There's no debate as to who the Winners are! The Penny War Winners of Round 2 are 2nd & 3rd! Well done again Boys!   Congratulations to all those who won prizes in our Christmas Raffle. Well done Boys! A big thank you to all those who sponsored prizes & supported us in anyway. The raffle made €500 for the Cashman Fund. The prize winners were as follows: Nathan - €50 Voucher Ronan - Cork Jersey Kayas - Rugby Ball Adam, Colin L, David B - Soccer Balls. Paul, Liam, Dylan, Joe, Colin S, Ciaran C, Colin W, Darius, Sean, Conor, Jack, Noel, Nagilus, Brian H, Jack, Michael, William, Marciek, Dan, Willie & Bailey all won Selection Boxes.   Well done to Mrs Stack's Class who performed in Kanturk Hospital. The staff & patients were treated to a selection of Christmas Carols. The Boys also played some tin whistle for the audience. Afterwards they hand delivered some handmade Christmas Cards to the patients.The boys really enjoyed their experience. Well done to all!  Well done to all those who braved the elements on Saturday and joined the Lorraine O' Riardon Gospel Choir Carol Singing. Well done to all the boys who put in a great effort today for our School Christmas Mass. Everybody played their part to perfection and we were very proud of all our boys. Enjoy some of the photos of our practice we took earlier today.  All pupils & staff attended the Coffee Morning in the Girls School in aid of the Cashman Fund. Many thanks to all those who brought in goodies and to those that supported the coffee morning.  Today 5th & 6th went down to Mercy House to present Sr Helen with a cheque for €500, some of our proceeds from the Carol Singing yesterday.We sang two songs and were delighted to get some sweets and 7up afterwards.  4th, 5th & 6th went Carol Singing in O' Brien St. today raising money for Mercy House, the Cashman Fund & School Funds. We had a great time and made lots of money. Thanks to all those who supported us. A special thank you to our collectors Padraig, Eileen, Martin, Joanne & Jim. Well done Boys on a great hours work! |
