Yesterday some of 5th & 6th took part in a hurling Blitz. Eoin wrote a report on it for us.
On Wednesday we had a hurling blitz in Dromtarriffe G.A.A pitch. First we
got jerseys in our class room and Mrs Boyce named Eoghan Boyce
as captain because it was his birthday. Then it was time to go and we went
on a bus. When we got there we had to tog off quickly so we could warm
up. When we were warmed up James Moylan our coach named our team and gave us a team talk. He couldn’t play because he was injured. Our first game was against Newmarket we lost but played well .Our second game was against Ballyhass we drew with them. Our third game was against Rathcoole and we won easily. Then our last game was against Freemount . we should have won but we drew. When We had all our games played but we might have played Lismire but they had to play Freemount. Then we togged off and went back to school and talked for a bit before getting back to work. We really enjoyed the day.
