We wrote some Hallowe'en Poems last week - Mrs Boyce was very impressed with what we came up with.
Hallowe'en Night is so much fun,
With sweets and chocolate for everyone.
With costumes, masks and painted faces,
We call to houses in different places.
By Brandon
One stormy Hallowe'en Night,
I was out when I got a fright.
When I saw him in my sight,
I knew I wouldn't sleep at night.
By Colin L
Vampires, witches, ghosts and hounds,
Flew through the air and crawled on the ground.
Horrible faces and staring eyes,
And from their mouths came a terrible noise.
By Kallum
It was Hallowe'en night when I got this fright.
I saw a witch that had an itch and also had a stitch.
She had a cat that was really fat that had a mat of fur.
It was from that sight that I got a fright.
I would always remember that Hallowe'en Night.
By Kayden
Today is the day the witches come out.
They snarl and put spells on you so don't come out.
They'll eat you for dessert but they wouldn't stitch you back up.
I only know from experience so don't go to the witches cup.
By Paul.
One scary Hallowe'en night
I was surely in for a fright.
I knocked on a door and couldn't see any light.
Out pops a man with a big knife.
By Darren
On Hallowe'en Night,
You might get a fright,
If you hear a boom
You know it's DOOM!
Witches ride a magical broom,
And monsters seem to lurk and loom.
Zombies give a creepy glare
While vampires give a sneaky scare.
Ghosts fly around and round,
And massive giants shake the ground.
Spooky Goblins walk the town,
While fiery demons pull you down.
Innocent children trick or treat,
Hungry Wolves give a nasty greet
Hallowe'en comes just once a year
But I'd advise hide and clear.
By Jack
The witches flying and screaming
As the potion cauldron is steaming.
Nowhere to run so give up now,
The witches will come and hunt you down.
By Ciaran C.
One stormy Hallowe'en night
Was the perfect time for witches to take flight.
Witches chanting evil spells,
to put all humans into wells.
Witches in their haunted tower
Making potions with so much power.
Witches flying high in the sky,
Torturing the children until they die.
The goblins and gremlins ransacked all places
They were so ugly you couldn't look at their faces.
So this Hallowe'en night just goes to show
When you think about trick or treating ... DON'T GO!
By Ciaran D
One stormy Hallowe'en night,
Was the perfect night for a fight.
Looking for a fight, I found a witch with a stitch,
And I pushed her into the ditch.
By Christopher.
Witches chanting an evil spell,
Demons dancing deep in hell.
Bats flying all around,
The dead are rising from the ground
Wolves howling at the moon.
Vampires coming ; they'll be here soon.
By Aidan.
Children die - left ,right and center.
All night mighty men
Bring them to their den.
