New Wave Mental Maths Starting on Week 32
As we have a 4 day week this week ...please do both Monday & Tuesday & the problems today.
Question 5. 10%= 1/10
Find 1/10 of €30 ...Divide by 10 ...And then take your answer away from €30 as it said there was 10% off.
Question 18. Odd + Even =
Test this out by putting in real numbers.
Remember ODD numbers are numbers ending in 1,3,5,7,9 and EVEN numbers are numbers ending in 2,4,6,8,0
This is similar to the Tuesday & Wednesday Problems of last week.
Remember - Diameter = 2 Radii
The Length of the Square will be the same as the Diameter.
Today we are going to concentrate on Directed Numbers ( Positive & Negative Numbers ) I want you to A8 & A9and I also want you to do Q1 on Number Sequences.
I would like you as always to spend at least 10 minutes on each.
In A8 & A9 it refers to Integers.
Integers are whole numbers - including both positive & negative numbers.
I will post a very good video on this that I would like you all to watch.

There is no need to do every sum but aim to spend 30 minutes a day working through these chapters.

Spend at least 10 minutes a day on Vocabulary Spelling City working on Week 27 and on Friday do the Spelling Test ME.
Read at Home - Week 27 Day 1 pg 105 Specs - I for one couldn’t do without my SPECS as you all know. A sure sign I’m getting old!
Our Novel : There’s a Boy in the Girl’s Bathroom.
We are starting a new novel this week.
I’m looking for you to READ or LISTEN to a chapter every day.
It’s available on a PDF on the website and I’ll also put up a soundcloud so that you can listen to it being read and follow on the PDF at the same time.
Afterwards I want you to answer the questions based on the chapter that I will put up on Seesaw.
