Which is the same weight as 2,000g?
Each option has to be worked out.
10% of 2Kg = 1/10 of 2000g =
50% of 4 Kg = ½ of 4000g =
10% of 200g = 1/10 of 200g=
Number 16 -20
The Pie Chart
Work out the fractions for each sport first.
Tennis & Football are both ¼ s
Cricket & Rugby add up to ½ = 4/8
If Cricket is ⅛ - Rugby must by ⅜

You may need a pen and paper here.
Please NOTE: You need to simplify your answers or they will be marked wrong. Also you NEED to a have a space between the whole numbers and the fractions.
K.27 Multiply fractions by whole numbers
We have done these before - so this is just a reminder.
Example
¼ X 8
8= 8/1
So it’s ¼ x 8/1
We multiply top by top - bottom by bottom
¼ x 8/1 = 8/4
We cannot leave it as an improper fraction.
8 divided by 4 = 2
Answer: ¼ x 8 = 2

Again please try and spend at least 30 minutes a day on these. Try and get a SMART Score of 100 out of 100 ...or as near as you can to it!
