Our Trip to the Park
For our trip to the par we went to the duck park. We left at ten o’ clock. We were keeping a tally of how much letter there was between the school and the park. We took a route that lead us through the back of the Convent, through the church and out to the car park. In the town park we observed lots of nature. I saw an interesting statue for all the men that died in Ireland for the Easter Rising. In the town park we saw lots of leaves and two of the boys even found mushrooms. There was quite a lot of cigarette stubs in the little building in the town park. Then we left the town park and walked to the duck park. The duck park was lovely. When we got there we were given five minutes to search for nature. I was searching and I found a strange looking tree with things that looked like apples. I smashed one open and I found that it was a walnut tree. After that we found a sign that told us all about Edel Quinn. Finally we walked back to school.
