4th- ‘Units of Measurement’- You can have a look at the ‘Weight’, ‘Length’ and ‘Capacity’ chapters in MatheMagic to help you.
* Each week, I will give a History or Geography chapter that I would like you to read. I will give some suggested activities from the workbook that you can try. You do not have to do this every week. It is an option.

History activity book – Do A), B) and C) Page 29.
*This week, you will see that I sent a word doc. called ‘Project Work’. This is an optional activity and you do not have to do it.
I am giving you the choice to pick a topic that interests you and you can start the project this week. You do not have to do it every day and you can start now and finish it at the end of June. There is no rush with it!
*It’s a great way of practicing research and typing skills and you will be so proud of the work you have put in at the end of it.
*Take a look at the document on ‘Project Work’ for some ideas to get you thinking.

- Gaeilge: Check back over your Léigh sa Bhaile to see if you have any pages left to finish. Note the pages and do one story a day.
- Bua na Cainte: ‘An Teilifís’- Page 128- Read ‘An Sceideal Teilifíse’ answer Q’s 1-8 in your copy. (Use Page 127 to help you write the times). Bain trial as! (Give it a go!)
- For example: 1. Beidh an clár dúlra ar siúl ag a ceathrú tar éis a trí. 2. Beidh an cartún ar siúl ag a cúig chun a ceathair.
- Maths: Mental Maths- Tues. and Tues. Problem Week 31 and correct when you are finished. (You can try Monday today or come back to it at a later date).
- Tables Champion- Continue to do a page every week until book is complete. Today do ‘Monday’ and ‘Tuesday’.
- Log in to IXL Maths and try some of the suggested activities that are highlighted.

- SpellBound- Start learning the spellings and doing the activities for Week 28. Do a test on Friday. Get someone to ask you them.
- *Reading Zone- Read Unit 26 ‘Abebe Bikila’ and do Activities A), B) and C) on Page 108 in literacy skills copy.
- *Online Writing Activity: You can start your 100 Word Challenge- submit for review by Friday please.
- *Movement break: Try a workout for kids by The Body Coach on YouTube.
- S.E.S.E: See below. You can pick 2 days this week that you will spend some time on S.E.S.E. and/or Project work.
- Gaeilge: Bua na Cainte: ‘An Teilifís’- Pages 130 and 131.
- Page 130- Read ‘An Phictiúrlann’ and answer Q’s 1-8 in your copy. Remember: Use the red box to help you answer the questions.
- For example: 6. Ar léim Ciara in airde? - Léim sí in airde.
- Page 131- Read ‘An Fathach Fíochmhar’. Read it, write the song into your copy and draw the fathach (giant).
- Leabhar Litrithe- Go to ‘An Teilifís’ and start doing the spelling activities. Only spend 5 minutes on this.
- Maths: Mental Maths- Wed. and Wed. Problem Week 31 and correct when you are finished.
- Tables Champion- ‘Wednesday’.
- Log in to IXL Maths and try some of the suggested activities.
- *Online Activity: Try the ‘Daily 10’ to practice tables.
- English: SpellBound- Continue learning the spellings and doing the activities for Week 28.
- *Reading Zone- Re-read Unit 26 ‘Abebe Bikila’ and do Activities D) and E) on Page 109 in literacy skills copy.
- Novel: Continue reading and write 5 questions you would like to ask a character in the book e.g. Laura or Billy. You could try a different activity if you want- Check out the school website for - ‘Wreck of the Zanzibar’ activities.
- *Watch ‘Cúla4 ar Scoil’ (TV- 10am or online).
- Gaeilge: Bua na Cainte: ‘An Teilifís’- Pages 132 and 133.
- Page 132- Use the red box to help you fill in Q’s 1-3 and fill in the ‘Suaimeanna Focail’ at the bottom of the page.
- Page 133- Read ‘An Nuacht’ agus ‘An Aimsir’. Answer Q’s 1-7 in your copy.
- For example: 1. Chuaigh Róisín go dtí an phictiúrlann aréir.
- Also, fill in the ‘Líon na Bearnaí’. The penguin will help you!

- *Movement break: Try some exercise, dance, yoga or meditation on ‘GoNoodle’.
- English: SpellBound- Continue learning the spellings and doing the activities for Week 28- Do the test tomorrow. Get someone to ask you them.
- Reading Zone- Re-read Unit 26 ‘Abebe Bikila’ and do Activities F) and G) on Page 109 in literacy skills copy.
- Novel- Continue reading.
- Gaeilge: Page 134- Look at the picture of ‘Rí na Síog’ and do the activities on Page 135 (I know it’s difficult when we can’t play the scéal in school but give it a go).
- *Watch ‘RTE Home School Hub’- 11am
- Mental Maths- test yourself by doing the ‘Friday Review’.
- Do your SpellBound test for this week- get someone to correct it for you.
- Pick some questions from a MatheMagic chapter that we’ve done and do them as a test- the ‘Look Back’ chapters in the book would be good ones to pick.
- Novel- Read a few pages today.
- S.E.S.E.- Spend a bit of time on S.E.S.E and/or Project work today.
