We had pages 110 -114 completed in school so please start revision pages 117 – 121. Ideally these pages should be completed orally or in written form before completing Maths Assessment Test 2

Monday No.2 = Are the numbers you coloured odd or even?
No. 3 = Are the numbers you coloured odd or even? List the next 5 odd numbers.
Tuesday : No. 1 = Now measure your kitchen table using your Maths book and your SESE book. Which book has the smallest area?
No. 3 Draw out 5 other ways of making €1.29 without using a euro coin e.g. 50c, 50c, 10c,10c, 2c, 2c, 2c, 2c, 1c
Wednesday: What time is it an hour/half hour earlier/later?
How many mins in an hour? Half hour? Quarter hour?
Thursday : What kind of shapes are these? 3D .
What 3D shapes are shown here? Cylinders and cubes.
Name other 3D shapes…cuboids, spheres, pyramids, cones
Problemsolving: Remember underline key words. Draw pictures to help. Use “ RUDE”
R= Read
U = Underline
D = Draw
E = Evaluate. .Does your answer make sense?
Remember mistakes are good when we learn from them.

- Dublin Zoo: Children can go to Dublin zoo website and watch one of their many live cams to see animals in their habitats. They also have an animal encyclopedia page where students can read and learn about all the different zoo animals.
- Physical exercise every day e.g make an obstacle course in your backyard. Log on to Gonoodle or Joe Wicks Body Coach. Make a den /a blanket fort. Play musical chairs or Blind Man’s Bluff. Have fun!!
