Reading:
We’ll continue with the PM ereaders. Try to read a new one
every day.
I enjoy listening to the boys’ recordings of their reading so please keep this up. You can also use Seesaw to record your reading. One or two recordings a week if possible.
***It’s important these books are at the right level. Your son should be able to read most of the book comfortably (90 percent accuracy). If your son is finding the book too hard or too easy please let me know and I’ll make an adjustment. ***

Monday: No.1=102, Tell 10 different ways using + ( 3 numbers e.g. 40+40+22=102) and – to make a total of 102
Tuesday : Tell 6 different ways of making €1
Wednesday: Revise months of the year and seasons.
Thursday:No.9= What time is it a half hour / 3 hours earlier; ½ hour/4 hours later?
Friday: Continue the pattern to 0
Problemsolving: Remember underline key words. Draw pictures to help. Use “ RUDE”
R= Read
U = Underline
D = Draw
E = Evaluate. .Does your answer make sense?
Remember mistakes are good when we learn from them.

Do you have any animals you care for? Who do you think is luckier – them – or you – or are you both lucky to have each other?

series of guidelines they think every child needs to know.
Their lessons contain a wealth of tips and advice, and all sorts
of interactive games and puzzles to reinforce lessons learned.

It is a great resource to use before planning a beach trip ( later in summer)!

- Sounds in Action- Continue on (maybe a page a day). This is all revision of previous class work. Hopefully this book is nearly completed.

- Spellings: As boys are now finished Spellbound ( Well done!) I ‘ll attach a revision sheet of spelling patterns we worked on in the classroom earlier this year. Hopefully the boys will remember the rhymes we used.
