Reader: Dance Shoes for GG. Continue reading the story “Denzel’s Holiday.
Review the story so far and make a list of all the characters and the items they have given Denzel to pack. Talk about Denzel’s expression.
Remind your child that the tone a reader uses reflects the feelings of the character. Discuss how Denzel’s tone might change as he watches his neatly packed bag begin to overflow.
Teach Your Monster to Read: This is a fun website & App to help students with their reading. It is based on a game but is very interactive and will reinforce lots of class work.

Thursday: No. 4= What do we call these shapes? ..2D shapes ..Name some more e.g. square, oval. What’s special about a square?...All sides are the same/equal. A rectangle? Opposite sides are equal.
No. 8= Double 3 is 6 so ½ of 6 = 3…Double 8…Double 4..12…10..7
Friday: No.3= Tell 4 ways of paying exactly for the ice-cream
e.g. 50c+ 5c ; 20c +20c+10c+5c ;……….
Problemsolving: Remember underline key words. Draw pictures to help. Use “ RUDE”
R= Read
U = Underline
D = Draw
E = Evaluate. .Does your answer make sense?
Remember mistakes are good when we learn from them.

- Develop fine motor skills e.g. cutting straight lines/wavy lines/fringes in paper and later cardboard, building with lego/bricks/ meccano, tying shoelaces.
- Physical exercise every day e.g. make an obstacle course in your backyard. Log on to Go noodle or Joe Wicks Body Coach. Make a den/ blanket fort. Play musical chairs or Blind Man’s Bluff. Have fun!!
